This recipe has two things that I look for in my comfort food: simplicity and cheddar cheese. I discovered this recipe less than two weeks ago and have already made three batches of these delicious biscuit-like treats. You should really try them out for yourself!
Makes 16 puffs
1⁄2 cup milk
1 cup sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch sea salt
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Beat the egg in the milk; mix together with the flour, baking powder, salt and grated cheese
3. Put large teaspoonfuls on a cold greased tray.
4. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until the cheese begins to turn a golden-brown.
